Will There be Enough Time to Network at the Conference?
The conference has been organized for optimal networking opportunities with networking breakfasts, lunches, as well as extended breaks. For more information, please see our program.
What is the Goal of NGEF2010?
Our goal is to connect ideas and business plans with feedback or funding. This year the main topic is on being an Entrepreneur or Intrapreneur and how getting started within or without the corporation.
How will NGEF2010 Accomplish this Goal?
NGEF2010 organizers will capitalize on Monaco as a premier destination venue to attract individual investors, venture capitalist, angel investors, and institutions that support Entrepreneurs. We will provide a professional environment to facilitate networking and the exchange of ideas to connect entrepreneurs with those who can provide valuable feedback or funding. This year, we will also foster communications and promotion within international business schools and other universities.

What is the Business Plan Competition?
The focal points of our conference are the Business Plan Competition.
The NGEF IUM Business Plan Competition is designed to give young, start-up entrepreneurs a chance to present their ideas to qualified judges, to network with ‘angels’ and financial supporters, to inter-face with other budding entrepreneurs and hone their Business plan expertise. The Business Plan Competition attracts entrepreneurs from all over the world.
Who can apply to the NGEF 2010 Business Plan competition?
Anyone under 35. Preference is given to university students or those offering new ideas as opposed to ideas already launched.
How do we apply to the Business Plan Competition?
This year if you would like to participate you first need to download the NGEF Business Plan registration form (link to BP form).
Secondly, include a 3 minute video presenting yourself, your idea and your plan. To upload your video presentation pitch on our account: http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload

- Do not forget to fill out the title field and description field for the comments and posts; you also can burn a cd and send it to IUM before March 30th, 2010.

What is the entry procedure for the NGEF 2010 Business Plan Competition?
Prepare an expanded ‘Executive summary’ of your business plan.
Include a general description of the idea, no longer than 2-3 pages stating the following:
• Who you are
• What are your overall mission is
• A description of your product/service
• What the market is – why is this an opportunity
• What is your strategy, our sustainable competitive advantage relative to the competition
• What team will implement the strategy
• How much funding do you need and what will you do with it/ A full financial plan is not required at this stage.

What is the NGEF 2010 Business Plan Contest structure?
Most ideas received will be presented in a video compilation at the conference.
A maximum of six entrants* will be short listed for live presentation at the NGEF conference in Monaco. These presentations will be in front of the audience and judges and must be no longer than 8 minutes. This time limit will be strictly enforced.
A further 5 minutes will be allocated for judges questions.

*Shortlisted entrants are required to pay 100€ for the conferences registration fees.
Press will be invited so beware of confidentiality issues.

If I register for the Business Plan or Think Tank Competition are My Transportation and Hotel costs covered by NGEF2010?
Unfortunately, as we are a student sponsored organization costs for transportation or hotel can not be covered for attendees.
