Mathilde Maylin, NGEF 2009 & 2010 Managing Director

Mathilde is French and is head of the IUM Social events and Alumni department.

Since 2002, she has been working at the International University of Monaco. She worked before at Walt Disney World, Florida and is now graduate from IUM Bachelor of Arts in Business and e-commerce.

Since September, she is also head of the IUM Alumni Department.

Pascal Bellet, NGEF 2010 Public Relations officer

Pascal is born and raised in Monaco and has been, since his very young age, in the yachting industry. Starting his way with one of the leaders, Edmiston & Company, he discovered the luxurious industry and saw all the opportunities it offered.

Following this first experience, he then entered an independent rising company in the same sector, as a ship agent, Monaco Port Services, where the former Monaco port’s captain, has shared his experience with him and enabled him to understand the industry from another point of view.

He then returned to Edmiston & Company for different internships in different departments (charter, accounting, sales, and listings). His hard work resulted in an opportunity involving working for the Monaco Yacht Show, coordinating the fleet of courtesy cars for Edmiston & Company. Being part of the Student Association of IUM as President, it enabled me to improve my interpersonal skills.

Benoit Bravard, NGEF 2010 Conference Manager

Benoit Bravard is a student from the International University of Monaco. He started the BSBA program in 2007 and is graduating in June 2010.He will be defending in June a thesis on “The relation between risk aversion and people’s background”.

He took the opportunity of studying in Monaco to develop an international work experience in finance and sales. Benoit has strong interests in sports and is currently managing the IUM football team.

Karolina Gadzimska, NGEF 2010 Sponsorship and Partnership Manager

Currently studying in the Master of Luxury Goods and Services at International University in Monaco, Karolina Gadzimska has a bachelor degree in Marketing in Management in English from Polish- American University called: Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu- National Louis University in Poland. She also has American High School Diploma, which she obtained during her exchange year in the United States.

Concerning my work experience, she is a snowboard and skiing instructor for the past 5 years, worked for Burton Learn to Ride Snowboarding Center in Zakopane, Poland. She has marketing experience at the Lightening company in Poland and spent 4 months in Ireland as a bar tender. She is strongly passionate about fashion, photography and sports. She had held two photo exhibitions of hers in the past, in the years 2008 and 2009.

In terms of her interests, she has a sailing patent, snowboarding and skiing licence, played basketball for 8 years as a captain of city team in Poland, belonged to Volleyball sports club for 3 years and organized motocross competition on a regional level in Poland.

She has some experience also in the field of modeling and hostessing.

Anders Larsson, NGEF 2010 Conference Manager

Anders Larsson is a Swedish born highly motivated business student with educations and employments from multiple countries in Europe and North America. He has skills and previous experience in securities trading, project management and marketing & sales. His familiarity of entrepreneurship is evident, having founded and co-founded two companies in the property- and merchandising sectors. The interests he pursues in his spare time are motorsport, sailing, hunting and travelling.

Monika Molnarova, NGEF 2010 Business Plan competition manager

Monika, 22, has a passion in hospitality industry and event management; cross cultural understanding of American, European and Latin-American culture.

She worked for traveling and hospitality companies before.

She attended a study-abroad program in Mexico.

Sabrina Pessarelli, NGEF 2010 Public relations, Fashion show and Sponsorship Officer

Sabrina Pessarelli is a French student at IUM studying a Master of Science in Luxury Goods and Services. She graduated with a BA from Espeme, Edhec Group in Nice (2008) and a BA from the University of The West of England, Bristol in 2006.

She has always been interested in Fashion and Luxury, and acquired a good knowledge of the luxury industry through her experiences at Yves Saint Laurent in Monaco, Christian Dior Couture in Paris and at Parfums Caron in New York. These experiences in France and abroad and a passion for travel enable her to have an open mind and to develop flexibility to deal with a range of situations.

Amandine Vincendet, NGEF 2010 fashion show organization and the media/ press relations Officer

Currently studying at the International University of Monaco in the Master of Luxury Goods and Services, Amandine Vincendet has a bachelor degree in International Business and Marketing, obtained at the Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in a French business school in Paris.

Her main working experience has been a six-months internship at Dior Horlogerie in the operational marketing department in Paris Headquarters. She also has had a PR experience at Clinique Cosmetics for six-months as a press attaché. Her main interests and passions are fashion, travels (she has been travelling extensively in Africa and South America) and dancing, she practices ballet and modern jazz dancing for more than 10 years.

She also has some experience in the field of hostess, notably for fashion shows.

Barend van der Vorm

Barend van der Vorm manages a portfolio of private equity investments. He founded CentreCourt in Monaco which supports high-growth companies and develops entrepreneurial strategies.

Mr. Van der Vorm is Chairman of the investment committee of IFHA (Investment Fund for Health in Africa) and serves as a member of the investment committee of a Dutch private equity firm. He is the honorary consul-general of the Netherlands to Monaco.

Mr. van der Vorm has been teaching the venture capital course in the MBA programs of the International University of Monaco (IUM), EDHEC Business School, CERAM Graduate School of Management and Eurecom. At IUM he has served on the Graduate Academic Committee and the Executive Committee.

Johannes Pinl

Johannes Pinl (BSBA) can look back over 7 years work in the entrepreneurial domain. After founding the Entrepreneur Association IUM Monaco in 2001 and starting the NeXt Generation Entrepreneur Forum with participants as Sir Philip Green (Top Shop), Johannes joined a Business Angel office in Monaco.

This work lead in 2004 to his first venture "Smart Tender" as co-founder. In 2005, Johannes co-founded Marine & Remote Sensing Solutions (MARSS), the 1st fully automated navigation and security system for the commercial shipping industry.

Today MARSS has completed two finance rounds and teamed up with the major players in the industry for the market launch of its MARSS system in mid 2009.
