THE UNIVERSE OF FASHION FOR FLOORS

FASHION FOR FLOORS cannot be understood without knowing the story of its creator Kamyar Moghadam. His father, Alexander Moghadam, was presented to Princess Grace during a gala event in Monaco, where he used to spend his holidays with his family. The Princess, amazed by Persian carpets, invited him to open a showroom in Monaco. The whole family then moved into the Principality, in the seventies.

Kamyar finished school and graduated from an American university in Marketing and Management. At the Parsons School of design, oriented towards fashion and design, he went to classes with Tom Ford and discovered the universe that would become the background of his professional life.

At 21, he started his career as a strategic developer for Dior, Weil, Lacoste and Balmain before discovering cosmetics. With Christophe Robin, a famous colorist, he opened the first color salon in Paris, attracting supermodels from all over the world. He met John Frieda, whose brand was already famous in New York and London. Kamyar joined this group and expanded in Europe. Billionaire, John Frieda sold the company to Japanese investors. It’s at that time that Kamyar took a break to go around the world and discover places, people, and cultures that still today influence his creations.

Back in Monaco after this long initiatory trip, he accepted the offer of his father to share the famous carpet shop in Monaco. That’s when the idea that would result in the revolutionary concept was born: associate the universe and the know-how of fashion, with the highest quality carpets: FASHION FOR FLOORS.
