Daniel Regidor is the founder of SATORI Soju, a super premium distilled alcohol spirit that is the first flavored “Soju” to be distilled in the U.S. Soju, as a spirit category, is the largest selling spirit in the world and dwarfs sales of vodka by volume by nearly 3:1.

Mr. Regidor has been awarded intellectual property rights for the brand and a patent for SATORI’s stunning packaging. SATORI has received universal acclaim in focus group studies and micro test markets. Mr. Regidor collaborated with beverage industry veterans such as the CFO of Skyy Spirits, and the VP of Marketing of Skyy Spirits to refine SATORI’s business strategy. His efforts to build alliances led him on a global odyssey that included meetings with Diageo PLC (Bangkok), Siam Winery (Thai founders of Red Bull), Singha Beer (Bangkok), Bohae Soju (S.Korea), and Beverage Marketing Corp. (New York) to name a few.

Overcoming enormous obstacles, Mr. Regidor forged supply chain alliances while SATORI prototypes have sparked interest by national restaurant chains for the product line. He has also secured distribution for an initial launch in California. His dramatic road to success has even generated the interest of film & TV producers who are interested in producing a reality documentary series on entrepreneurs. This potential for national PR exposure may be the catalyst to propel SATORI to a national and perhaps even a global brand.

Previously, Mr. Regidor has been a strategic adviser to developmental and emerging growth companies. He raised mezzanine financing that brought a competing soju brand, HAN, to market - which ultimately led to leading his current venture. In other market sectors, he salvaged an early stage tech startup through a reverse-merger, technology transfer deal. He also served as the CFO of MyOwnEmpire.com and reported to the Board of Directors who included the founders of Match.com, Alta Vista Technology and PhotoLoft.com There, he managed its acquisition by CreateLabs, a Hong Kong based incubator. Previous to Mr. Regidor’s entrepreneurial and consultancy work, he was a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Bond Trader and Analyst for firms such as Wells Fargo Bank, Montgomery Asset Management and Van Kampen American Funds. Several funds under management consistently ranked among the top 10 performing funds by Lipper Analytical and Morningstar rating agencies, outperforming hundreds of competitors.
