Laurent Weil
Laurent Weil is journalist and TV presenter, born the December 9th 1963 in Paris.
Passionate about cinema, he became from 1985 to 1989 chronicler for Hit FM radio. In 1987 he joined M6 and presented the weekly TV show “Cine Live” which he was the editor in chief until March 2003. He joined Canal+ group in July 2000 as an assistant director. In September 2003, he became the cinema spokesman on the channel and presented “La semaine du cinema”. He took part of the “Grand Journal” chroniclers in 2004, TV show broadcasted every evening and presented by Michel Denisot. Laurent was told to leave in June 2008, despite the fact that he participated to the show during the “Festival de Cannes 2009”. In September 2007, he was master of ceremony of “Ligue 1” shows. He replaced Daphne Roulier for “Exterieur Jour” in June 2008. Speaking frequently English, Laurent Weil interviewed famous actors like Brad Pitt, Will Smith, George Clooney or Samuel L. Jackson and so on. |
